This Pro Ultramat is designed for most normal body sizes (186cm x 72cm) and is suitable for your whole body while you have a ”timed” session on it or can be comfortably slept on. The large Ultramat is the ideal size for a massage table and is great for wellness centres, reiki practitioners, massage therapists, moxibustion, chiropractors, acupuncture, psychotherapists, hypnotherapists, Rolf therapy, energy workers etc.

A cover sheet protects the mat from body oils, sweat and perspiration. A further natural cover pad can be put on top if desired to enhance comfort.

What is Far Infrared Heat?

Far Infrared therapy (FIR) involves the use of Far Infrared rays to gently heal, soothe, stimulate and detox the physical body, as well as the mind.

What is Amethyst?

Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz. The name originates from the ancient Greek word “amethystos”, which means “not intoxicated” or “not drunken”. The Greeks and Romans even wore amethyst and crafted drinking vessels from it, hoping to ward off drunkenness addiction.

Amethyst is a stone of spiritual protection and purification, cleansing one’s energy field of negative influences and attachments, and creating a resonant shield of spiritual Light around the body. It acts as a barrier against lower energies, psychic attack, geopathic stress and unhealthy environments.

For a sauna effect, use the mat at 60-70 °C for about 30 minutes, while covered with a blanket. To increase the sauna effect, you can place a mini mat on the front of the body and also cover it with a blanket.

For normal overnight use, set it to about 35-40 °C, according to your comfort. It is suggested to place a towel on the mat, instead of lying on the stones directly, to protect the mat from sweat.

When first starting with the mat, it’s better to go low and go slow.

Human body temperature is approximately 38 degrees Celsius, so that would be an ideal point to start. Gradually increase the temperature to test your tolerance. Set your temperature lower for longer usage and higher for shorter periods. Always drink lots of water before, during, and after use to prevent the physical effects of dehydration.
